Softest merino wool akin to cashmere, one can sleep in this wool it is that soft. This textile is produced in house by our knitting machine, we then wash the fabric to "full" which has a lightly felted or boiled effect. It is then cut and sewn with sergers and sewing machines. The seams are not traditionally linked which allows us a lot of flexibility in shape and sizing. The weight is as a classic sweater knit, about 290 gsm with each wash having the variation of the wildness of wool. 100% merino wool Hand wash cold and lay flat to dry or Dryclean only This fabric is washed to fullness but will continue to shrink if laundered with heat and/or agitation. Wool is naturally antibacterial and is happy to be only spot washed as needed, it will naturally regain it's shape between wears, for this reason wool uses less water, has a smaller footprint and is more sustainable and eco-friendly than synthetic textiles over it's lifespan and yours. Speaking of lifespan when stored properly away from animal dander or soiled clothing your wool garments will last many years and also biodegrade naturally. Shave your wool with a regular razor if pilling occurs.
